Elizabeth Townsend-Rose has a diverse work experience in the fields of e-commerce, technology, and finance. Elizabeth is currently the President and Co-Founder of AGORA, where they are involved in building a video-based mobile shopping application. Prior to this, Elizabeth spent over five years as a Co-Founder of Lazada Group, a leading e-commerce platform in Southeast Asia which was acquired by Alibaba. During their time at Lazada, they held various roles including Head of Buying for Lazada Malaysia, Head of Lifestyle Categories for the Lazada Group, CEO of Lazada Indonesia, CFO and CCO of the Lazada payments business, and Head of M&A, Corporate Development, and Loyalty for the group. Elizabeth also served as the COO of HelloPay and Co-CEO of Lazada Indonesia. Before joining Lazada, Elizabeth worked as an Associate at The Carlyle Group in Consumer & Retail Buyouts and as an Analyst at J.P. Morgan.
Elizabeth Townsend-Rose completed their Bachelor's degree from Princeton University, where they attended from 2005 to 2009. Prior to that, they attended Deerfield Academy from 2001 to 2005. The field of study for both institutions was not specified.
