Ilya Serkov

Ilya Serkov has over 7 years of work experience in the technology field. Ilya began their career at Helios IT as a Web Developer in 2014 before moving on to SimbirSoft as a Software Developer in 2015. In 2017, Ilya joined Ecwid as a Software Engineer and worked there until 2018. Ilya then joined FunCorp as a Senior Backend Developer from 2018 to 2020. Currently, Ilya is employed at AGORA, where they initially served as a Backend Lead from 2020 to 2023. Ilya currently holds the position of Head of Technology at AGORA.

Ilya Serkov completed their Master of Science in Information Technology (M.Sc) with a specialization in Computer Software Engineering from Ulyanovsk State Technical University. Ilya pursued this degree from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they obtained a Graduate degree in Linguistics from Ulyanovsk State Pedagogical University. Ilya attended this university from 2007 to 2012. Additionally, in November 2016, Ilya Serkov received the Oracle Certified Associate, Java SE 8 Programmer certification from Oracle.
