Matt Helms

Matt Helms is an accomplished business leader with extensive experience in the agricultural sector. Currently serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Agragene Inc since January 2025, Matt has also owned Ella & Ollie Popcorn since May 2017. Prior to these roles, Matt was Managing Director at BioGenerator Ventures and held various executive positions at NewLeaf Symbiotics, Inc., Bayer Crop Science, and Monsanto Company, contributing to global business development and agricultural productivity. Earlier experience includes a senior consultancy role at Deloitte and a sales position at Novartis. Matt holds a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and an Executive M.B.A. from Washington University in St. Louis.
