Benjamin THEYTAZ has worked in the field of computer vision and artificial intelligence since 2017. In 2017, they completed a project involving facial/object recognition on a Raspberry 3B+ and tracking with a pan/tilt turret as part of their Master's degree. In 2018, they worked on a project for their Master's degree involving the detection of fires in domestic environments using deep learning. Since 2019, they have worked as a Computer Vision Engineer and Software Engineer at AgreenCulture, where they have created a graphical interface (Qt) and a multi-threaded program for an image acquisition system, as well as a framework based on a micro-service architecture (with Docker) deployed in the cloud (GCP) to analyse features and faults on several types of fruits (Image analysis with OpenCV and TensorFlow).
Benjamin THEYTAZ has a background in electrical and electronic engineering. Benjamin obtained their D.U.T Mesures Physiques from the UNIVERSITE D'AUVERGNE in 2013-2015. Benjamin then completed a Licence Physique appliquée et ingénieries : Electronique, Electrotechnique et Automatique from the Université Blaise Pascal (Clermont-II) - Clermont-Ferrand in 2015-2016. Benjamin subsequently earned a Master Ingénierie des systèmes électroniques et énergétiques from the UNIVERSITE D'AUVERGNE in 2016-2017. Finally, they obtained a Master Traitement du Signal : Systèmes embarqués pour le traitement du signal, des images et du son from École Universitaire de Physique et d’Ingénierie in 2017-2019.
