Brent Garlick has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Brent started their career in 1989 as a Controller at Bingham Engineering, Inc., where they managed the financial aspects of a regional engineering company. In 1995, they became an Audit Manager at Deseret Management Corporation, where they oversaw financial and operational audits. In 2002, they joined AgReserves, Inc. and Farmland Reserve, Inc. as a Corporate Controller, responsible for financial reporting, budget planning, and internal controls. In 2013, they were promoted to Vice President, Finance - Chief Financial Officer, overseeing strategic improvement initiatives and financial performance.
Brent Garlick holds a Master's degree in Business Administration from Colorado State University. Brent attended the university from 1998 to 2002. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business, where they studied from 1989 to 1993.
In addition to their academic achievements, Brent Garlick has obtained several certifications. In 2000, they became a Certified Public Accountant, awarded by the State of Maryland, Department of Labor, Licensing and Regulation. In 2010, they obtained the Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
