Allan Johnson

Allan Johnson serves as the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Agri-Pulse Communications since May 2009, overseeing subscription growth and website management for a leading agriculture and rural policy newsletter. Additionally, Allan Johnson is the President of AR Johnson Company, focusing on helping government and private sector organizations develop long-term strategies. From 2003 to 2009, Allan Johnson held the position of Deputy Under Secretary and Senior Advisor to the USEC at the United States Department of Agriculture. Previous experience includes serving as President of Farm Progress Companies, a division of the Walt Disney Company, and Regional Sales Manager at Midwest Unit Farm Magazine Group. Allan Johnson began their career as Advertising Manager at The Dakota Farmer. Allan Johnson earned a BS in Agronomy from North Dakota State University between 1964 and 1968.
