Carien Cloete

Carien Cloete has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Carien started their career in 2008 as an HR and IR Consultant at Danshaw, where they worked until 2011. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as an HR Officer and Marketing at PKF (Cpt) Inc., and also took on the role of Personal Assistant for a brief period.

In 2014, Carien joined Grant Thornton Cape as an HR Practitioner/Generalist, and later took on the role of HR Manager from 2015 to 2016. After leaving Grant Thornton Cape, they worked as an HR Manager at an undisclosed company in 2017.

Their most recent position is as the Head of Human Resources at Agri Technovation (Pty) Ltd, where they have been since 2018.

Carien Cloete has a diverse education history with a focus on business administration, communication, teamwork, leadership, and industrial and organizational psychology. In 2008, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Industrial and Organizational Psychology at Stellenbosch University. In 2014, they obtained an Honours degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika. Carien furthered their education in 2015 by becoming a certified practitioner in NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming) at Powercoaching. In 2016, Carien pursued their Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Business Administration and Management, General at Stellenbosch Business School. Additionally, they completed a Lumina Spark program in 2016, focusing on communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
