Robert Reed

Robert Reed has an extensive work experience that spans over several industries and roles. Robert is currently working as a Marketing Manager at Agricarbon UK since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Marketing Manager at Soil Heroes from July 2021 to October 2022. At Soil Heroes, they focused on B2B marketing on LinkedIn and enabled companies in Europe and the UK to invest in environmental impact by working with regenerative farmers.

Before joining Soil Heroes, Robert worked at A Team Foundation for several years. Robert held multiple roles, including Grants Consultant from October 2020 to July 2021, Director (Maternity Leave Cover) from February 2020 to September 2020, and Grants Manager from January 2017 to January 2020. As a Grants Manager, they played a crucial role in supporting food and land projects through grants and impact investment. Their responsibilities included grant administration, grant writing and proposal evaluation, program development, monitoring and evaluation, and maintaining relationships with grantees and peers. Robert also actively contributed to shaping the foundation's strategy and directed a rebranding effort.

Robert's experience also includes working as a Program & Relationships Manager at Farming the Future from December 2019 to July 2021. Robert successfully scaled the organization's funding experiment and coordinated giving to a network of over 60 organizations and 15 donors.

Additionally, Robert has worked in various other roles, including Kundalini Yoga Teacher at Amrit Nam Sarovar in November-December 2020, CSR Support at Nurture Brands from January-October 2020, Events and Project Manager at Reform Club from March 2014 to December 2016, Freelance Illustrator and Designer from September 2006 to January 2014, Illustration Agent at Jelly London from January 2011 to January 2012, and Herdsman at Wyke Farms from January 2009 to January 2011.

Robert Reed's education history includes obtaining a Master's Degree in Forestry (specializing in Agroforestry) from Bangor University, which they attended from 2015 to 2018. Prior to this, they earned a Bachelor's Degree in Illustration from Arts University Bournemouth, where they studied from 2006 to 2009.

In addition to their formal education, Robert has pursued other certifications and training. In 2019, they obtained a Diploma in Investment and Finance Management from Skills and Education Group Awards. Robert also completed the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Course offered by the Search Inside Yourself Leadership Institute (SIYLI) in January 2019. Prior to that, in November 2018, they earned a certification in Social Impact Measurement (SROI) from the School for Social Entrepreneurs, and in October 2018, they completed the Giving 2.0 program from Stanford University.

Before their university studies, Robert completed their A Levels at Sexey's School, Bruton, between 2003 and 2005. Furthermore, they have also pursued additional certifications, such as a Yoga Teacher Training in Kundalini Yoga at Amrit Nam Sarovar in 2020, and various certificates related to life drawing, image production, and computer graphics from ABC Awards, obtained in 2009.
