Ricardo Faias

Ricardo Faias has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ricardo currently serves as the Manager of Financial Structuring solutions at Agro.Club since February 2023. Prior to this, from August 2021 to June 2022, they worked as a Corporate Finance Consultant at VA&E Trading. Before that, they served as Financial Advisors at Usina Enersugar S/A Açúcar e Álcool from August 2020 to July 2021.

From February 2013 to December 2019, Ricardo held the position of Corporate Finance & I.T. Director at El Tejar Ltd. During their tenure, they played a major role in the company's restructuring, implementing various financial and IT solutions, reducing G&A, and managing relations with financial institutions. Ricardo also oversaw capital restructuring, implemented governance measures, and coordinated audit and internal control processes.

From July 2010 to December 2012, they worked as a Structured Finance Operations and Investor Relationship Manager at TRIP Linhas Aereas S/A. In this role, they were responsible for treasury management, mergers & acquisitions, structured operations, and investor relations. Ricardo successfully raised the credit threshold with financial institutions, renegotiated the company's debt profile, and prepared the company for its IPO. Ricardo also implemented measures to align the company with optimal corporate governance practices.

Prior to that, from January 2009 to July 2010, Ricardo served as the Country Treasury Manager at Açúcar Guarani S.A. Ricardo was responsible for managing treasury operations in the country.

From September 2003 to January 2009, they worked as the South America Cash Manager at AREVA T&D, where they oversaw treasury operations, insurance, bonds & guarantees, financial risk, and structured operations. Ricardo achieved significant cost savings through cash centralization, reduced insurance rates, and structuring financing for clients.

Before that, they held positions at Alstom Brasil Ltda as a Senior Treasury Supervisor from October 2000 to September 2003, at Votorantim Celulose e Papel S.A. as a Senior Analyst of Financial Business from March 1996 to October 2000, and at SOCOPA as a Senior Exchange Rate Broker from March 1986 to March 1996.

Ricardo Faias has a diverse education history in the field of business and finance. Ricardo completed an Executive Education Program in Corporate Management with a focus on Business Administration and Management at FIA Business School from 2004 to 2005. Prior to that, they pursued an Executive Education Program in Finance at Ibmec from 1999 to 2000. In 1997, they participated in a Continuing Education Program in Finance at FGV - Fundação Getulio Vargas. Ricardo also pursued Graduate Studies in Foreign Trade at Universidade Paulista from 1995 to 1996. Ricardo'seducational journey began with a degree in Economics from Centro Universitário FMU | FIAM-FAAM, which they completed from 1988 to 1992.
