Demi Markogiannaki

Demi Markogiannaki has a diverse range of work experience. Demi started their career as an intern at Essential Media Communications, where they assisted with communication campaigns, research, and digital strategy. Demi then became a freelance journalist at Neos Kosmos Newspaper, writing articles on various topics. In 2011, Demi co-founded WeTeachMe and served as a Founder and Non-Executive Director, leading customer development, B2B sales, and customer onboarding. Demi also managed and trained sales staff and established a leadership team.

Demi's involvement in various organizations includes being a Board Member at the Hellenic Australian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (Victoria), where they facilitated strategy workshops, new member acquisition, and event facilitation. Demi also served as a Business Consultant at Koh Living, focusing on sales, company culture, and staff management. Demi was a Director at PWN, an organization that promotes meaningful wealth management. Demi also served as a Member of the Board of Advisors at Museums Victoria, sharing knowledge and networks to promote the Open Horizons exhibition.

In 2020, Demi joined Agroknow as an Advisory Board Member and later became the Chief Revenue Officer (CRO). In their role, they supported the sales team, facilitated collaboration between the product and sales team, and created efficient workflows.

Demi's most recent endeavor includes founding the Executive Assistant Institute, a platform dedicated to providing resources and support to executive assistants. Overall, Demi's work experience showcases their expertise in sales, leadership, strategy facilitation, and community engagement.

Demi Markogiannaki completed their Bachelor's degree in English Literature (British and Commonwealth) from Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon in 2007. Demi then pursued a Master's degree in Global Media Communications from the University of Melbourne, which they attained in 2010. In addition to their formal education, Demi has obtained certifications in various subjects, including negotiation from Coursera, English proficiency from the University of Michigan, Italian language proficiency from Università per Stranieri di Perugia, and Japanese language proficiency from the Japan Foundation and Japan Educational Exchanges and Services.
