Robert L. Johnson

Mr. Johnson became the president of AGRU America in Georgetown, South Carolina on November 17, 1997. Under Mr. Johnson’s leadership and vision, along with the support of the Austrian-based Gruber family who owns the company, AGRU America has grown to become one of the leading U.S. manufacturers of geosynthetic products. Mr. Johnson has led the expansion of five new factories, an acquisition, and several strategic partnerships. As a result of these efforts, AGRU America sales have grown 20-fold since the late 1990s.
