David Chen

David Chen is the current Head of Software Services at Agtonomy. Prior to this, they served as Chief Technology Officer at Skycatch from December 2020 to February 2022. From June 2017 to December 2020, they were the Head of Research and Development at Skycatch. From June 2014 to June 2017, they served as the Senior Director of Engineering at Skycatch, leading the engineering teams across hardware and software to build advanced aerial data capture solutions. Prior to Skycatch, Chen was a software engineer at Xanga.com from July 2005 to May 2008 and at Twitter from January 2011 to June 2014. David also served as CTO and Co-founder at Pipio Inc from May 2008 to January 2011.

David Chen earned a BS in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
