Ella Rasmussen

Ella Rasmussen has a strong background in software engineering and robotics. Ella'smost recent position was as a Software Engineer - Perception at Agtonomy, starting in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Robotics Engineer at Iron Ox from May 2022 to November 2022. Ella also gained valuable experience at Lyft, where they held various roles, including Perception Software Engineer in the Autonomous Vehicle Division from July 2020 to April 2022. Ella started their journey at Lyft as a Level 5 Autonomy Software Engineering Intern in 2018 and 2019. Additionally, Ella was a Co-Founder and Team Captain at WATonomous, where they led a team of university students in developing a fully autonomous Chevrolet Bolt from January 2017 to December 2018. Ella also interned as a Vision Software Engineer at Quanergy in 2016 and held a Software Engineering Intern position at RedIron Technologies in 2016. Ella began their career as a Programming Instructor at E-bots Robotics from September 2012 to August 2015.

Ella Rasmussen completed their education at the University of Waterloo from 2015 to 2020, where they earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Mechatronics Engineering. In addition, in May 2016, they obtained a certification in Machine Learning from Coursera Course Certificates.
