Alex Garcia

Alex Garcia is a seasoned civil engineer with extensive experience in roadway design and project management. Currently serving as the Roadway Team Lead at Aguirre & Fields since December 2021, Alex previously held the role of Project Manager at DEC | Engineering Excellence from April 2019 to November 2021, as well as at Freese and Nichols for over 13 years, where expertise included traffic control design, storm drain design, and pavement marking layouts. Alex began the professional journey as an intern at the Texas Department of Transportation in 2004, where responsibilities included inspecting seal coat construction and reviewing construction quantities. Alex holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University, completed in 2006.
