Garrett Buschjost

Garrett Buschjost has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the agriculture industry. Garrett is currently working as a Senior Partnership Manager at AgVend since February 2023, where they focus on managing partnerships. Prior to that, Garrett worked as a Territory Business Manager at Koch Agronomic Services from May 2020 to February 2023, handling business operations in a specific territory. Garrett also served as a District Sales Manager Trainee at Bayer Crop Science from May 2018 to May 2020, where they gained experience in sales management.

During their time at the University of Missouri-Columbia, Garrett held a student position with the Dean of Agriculture from August 2015 to May 2018. In this role, they maintained inventory, assisted with logistical issues, and helped set up campus events. Garrett also gained valuable experience at Monsanto Company, where they worked as a Student Ambassador from August 2017 to April 2018, and as a Field Sales Intern from April 2017 to August 2017.

Garrett's early experience includes managing their family's farm, Buschjost Brothers Farms, as a Farm Manager from January 2008 to February 2018. Garrett was responsible for the daily management of cattle, maintenance of pens and equipment, and hay production. Additionally, they worked as a Director of Grain Operations Intern at MFA Incorporated from May 2016 to August 2016, where they learned about grain merchandising and logistics. Garrett also gained experience in retail sales and seed and chemical sales as a Region 3 Intern at MFA Incorporated from May 2015 to August 2015. Prior to that, Garrett worked as a Production Assistant at Prairie Farms in 2014 and as a Laborer at Osage Vista Farms from 2010 to 2012.

Garrett Buschjost attended Helias Catholic High School from 2010 to 2014 where they received their high school diploma. Following their high school education, they enrolled at the University of Missouri-Columbia where they pursued a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Agribusiness/Agricultural Business Operations. Garrett attended the university from 2014 to 2018 and successfully completed their degree. Additionally, in 2010, Garrett obtained a certification in CPR from the American Red Cross.
