Somsanith Ninthavong

Mr. Somsanith Ninthavong assumed the role of Director of Corporate Affairs at the AHA Centre in July 2020. In this capacity, he oversees a broad spectrum of functions, including administration, financial management, HRM, and ICT.

Before joining the AHA Centre, he served as the Chief Financial Officer at the Mekong River Commission (MRC). Additionally, he worked as a financial advisor for the Aid for Trade and Trade Facilitation Project under the UNOPS and the World Bank. Prior to these roles, he held positions as the Chief Financial Officer and Senior Accountant in a construction and property development company, as well as in a gold and copper mining company in Australia and Papua New Guinea.

Mr. Ninthavong, a Lao national, holds degrees, including a Master of Commerce (Information Management) from Deakin University, an MBA from Central Queensland University, and a Bachelor of Business (Accounting and HRM) from Swinburne University of Technology. He is a Certified Public Accountant and an active member of CPA Australia, Lao CPA, and ASEAN CPA.
