Tom Kustak

Tom Kustak has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Tom is currently working at ahead as the Head of Operations, a role they started in January 2023. Prior to this, they worked as the Team Lead Operations & Supply Chain Management at ahead from April 2022 to January 2023.

Before joining ahead, Tom was a Co-Founder of StrollCast from February 2021 to September 2021.

Tom also has experience in the aerospace industry, having worked at Airbus. Tom served as a Project Management Business Partner - Performance Management and Digitalization from June 2019 to January 2021. Additionally, they worked as an Assistant to Procurement Management at Airbus from March 2017 to August 2017. Tom started their career with a Dual Study Program at Airbus in August 2013, which lasted until March 2017.

Tom Kustak has an extensive education history. Tom obtained their higher education entrance qualification (A-levels) from Sportgymnasium Neubrandenburg (Eliteschule des Sports) from 2003 to 2012. Later, from 2014 to 2017, they attended Fachhochschule Nordakademie Elmshorn, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Industrial Engineering and Business Management. Tom then pursued further education and completed a Master of Science (MS) degree in Management with a Specialization in Strategy and Entrepreneurship from Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics between 2017 and 2019. Concurrently, in 2018 and 2019, they also attended Copenhagen Business School, where they obtained another Master of Science (MS) degree.

Furthermore, Tom has achieved various certifications throughout their educational journey. Tom obtained the Cambridge English: Advanced (CAE) certification from Cambridge Assessment English in January 2017. Tom also became a Certified ScrumMaster® (CSM®) through the Scrum Alliance in July 2019. Most recently, in May 2021, Tom obtained the Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)® certification from the Project Management Institute.
