Linda Sala, PHR, SHRM-CP, has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Linda began their career at Burgess-Norton Manufacturing Co as a receptionist and machinist, where they developed their business knowledge and skills. Linda then joined Perfect Plastic Printing as a human resources coordinator, gaining experience in various HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, and compliance.

In 2007, Linda joined ISACA, initially taking on roles as an HR coordinator and assistant manager before progressing to HR senior manager and manager. Linda'smajor accomplishments at ISACA include modernizing talent acquisition practices, streamlining onboarding processes, and introducing various process improvements. As the senior director and head of HR, they led the HR team and contributed to the development of ISACA's CMMI product.

Linda later joined Northwest Human Resources Council as a communications director, where they played a vital role in vendor relations and strategic HR programs. In 2022, they joined Sunstar Americas, Inc. as a senior human resources manager, overseeing HR operations for a global organization.

Currently, Linda serves as the human resources director at AHIMA, where they provide guidance and operational excellence in all areas of HR, focusing on developing programs that support an irresistible culture. Throughout their career, Linda has demonstrated their expertise in HR management, talent acquisition, onboarding, process improvement, and strategic HR initiatives.

Linda Sala, PHR, SHRM-CP completed their education by earning a Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management and an Advanced Certificate in Management & Leadership from Judson University, where they studied from 2008 to 2012. In 2012, they obtained the Professional in Human Resources (PHR®) certification from the HR Certification Institute (HRCI). Linda then obtained the SHRM-CP certification from SHRM in January 2015. Additionally, they have pursued various additional certifications in the field of human resources, including ones such as Human Resources: Pay Strategy, Human Resources: Strategic Workforce Planning, Strategic Human Resources, Lean Six Sigma Foundations, Strategic Business Analysis Essentials, The Value of Employee Resource Groups, and The Human Resources Hero, all obtained from LinkedIn in 2023.
