Sakari Ahdekivi

Sakari Ahdekivi is the current CFO, Deputy CEO & EVP, Corporate Development at Ahlstrom-Munksjö. Prior to this, they served as Interim CEO from the announcement of the merger with Munksjö Oyj in November 2016 to the completion of the merger at the end of March 2017, in addition to Group CFO duties. Before that, they were Managing Director, Finland and Baltics at Tamro Corp from September 2009 to January 2014. Sakari was also Group CFO at YIT from August 2007 to September 2009 and at Huhtamaki from March 2005 to August 2007. Prior to that, they were Group Vice President Global Division Controller at ABB from January 1994 to March 2005.

Sakari Ahdekivi has a M.Sc.(Econ) in Economics, Finance & Accounting from Helsinki School of Economics and a Business/Managerial Economics degree from Hochschule St Gallen.
