Eeric Truumees

Eeric Truumees is a highly experienced spine specialist, currently serving as Co-Director of the Spine Program at Ascension Texas since June 2021 and as a Professor at Dell Medical School, University of Texas at Austin. Eeric Truumees has held leadership roles such as Past President of the North American Spine Society and Editor in Chief of AAOS Now. Other significant positions include Attending Spine Surgeon and Director of Spine Research at Seton Medical Center, and CEO of Seton Brain and Spine Institute prior to its merger with Ascension Texas Medical Group. Eeric Truumees' academic background includes a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Religious Studies from the same institution.
