Svp, Global Head Digital Customer Engagement at Ahold Delhaize

Arti Sahgal has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Arti is currently working as the SVP, Global Head of Digital Customer Engagement at Ahold Delhaize since July 2020. Prior to this, they served on the Board of Directors and as Chair of the Women-in-Business Committee at the Swiss American Chamber of Commerce from March 2015 to December 2020, where they focused on evangelizing digital innovation for Swiss-U.S. companies and mentoring women in their career journeys.

Arti has also held key positions at The HEINEKEN Company, where they served as the Digital Media Optimization Lead from October 2018 to July 2020, driving digital media transformation and innovation. Before that, they were the eCommerce Demand Generation & Media Lead from August 2017 to October 2018, spearheading Heineken's U.S. eCommerce strategy and introducing performance marketing.

Earlier in their career, Arti Sahgal worked at Synapse LLC as the Head of Digital Marketing & Transformation from May 2015 to May 2017, where they built the Digital Marketing Practice based on data-driven insights. From 2010 to 2015, they were the Chief Marketing & Revenue Officer and founding member of Coresystems, a company acquired by SAP, where they built and scaled the U.S. subsidiary.

Arti Sahgal also gained experience in marketing during their time at The Tea Room from October 2008 to October 2009 and Ogilvy & Mather, where they worked as a Marketing Associate during a traineeship from July 2004 to October 2004. Arti'sexperience spans across various industries and responsibilities, including brand management, data-driven marketing, digital transformation, and team leadership.

Arti Sahgal holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Marketing) & Psychology from the University of Bern, which they completed from 2004 to 2008. Arti later pursued further education in Digital Marketing at New York University from 2012 to 2015. Additionally, Arti Sahgal obtained a certification in Negotiation & Leadership from Harvard University in 2014. Arti also holds various certifications, including Consultative Selling Skills from Baker Communications, Inc. in 2014, Sales Specialist Certification from SAP in 2012, and an International Dance Certificate in Indian Classical Dance (Odissi) from the Indian Art Research Center, Bhubaneswar in 2003.
