Charlotte van der Scheun's work experience includes the following:

- Tech Lead Data Platform at Ahold Delhaize since June 2022. Charlotte is involved in building the data platform product called 'Thor' that is deployed across different operating companies within Ahold Delhaize. Charlotte'sresponsibilities include creating a fast and cost-effective platform for Data Engineers to ingest, transform, and aggregate data.

- Python Data Engineer at Ahold Delhaize from January 2021 to May 2022. Charlotte worked on the Data Differentiation Platform and was part of the team that created a self-service meta-data driven data platform. Charlotte was responsible for improving and maintaining a homemade pySpark library for raw data ingestion and transformation.

- Medior Data Engineer at MIcompany from June 2019 to April 2020. Charlotte specialized in the cloud environment (AWS) and created and implemented data environments. Charlotte also introduced new technologies like Gitlab CI/CD and ensured smooth operations and optimal impact.

- Junior Data Engineer at MIcompany from February 2018 to June 2019.

- Quality Assurance at Spotzer from October 2016 to February 2018. Charlotte was responsible for ensuring the quality of website development.

- VR Developer (Graduation project) at Scopic from April 2017 to August 2017. Charlotte created virtual reality apps using Unity3D for clients like Robeco & Volvo Ocean Race and wrote a thesis on the math behind computer graphics.

- Stage Front-End Development at Label A from November 2014 to May 2015.

Charlotte van der Scheun obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mathematical Engineering (Toegepaste Wiskunde) from Inholland University of Applied Sciences from 2012 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their HAVO degree in natuur en techniek + informatica from Roland Holst Scholengemeenschap Hilversum from 2008 to 2012. Additionally, they have certifications such as Databricks Certified Data Engineer Associate, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate (002), Storytelling & Visualisation course, Querying Microsoft SQL Server 2012 (70-461), and Solution Architect Associate from Amazon Web Services (AWS).
