Jagan Jayakarthikeyan

Jagan Jayakarthikeyan has extensive experience in the field of data analytics and business intelligence. Jagan is currently working as an Azure Data Platform Technical Lead at Ahold Delhaize, where they are responsible for designing and implementing business intelligence and data warehousing solutions. Prior to this, they worked as an Azure Data Architect at Cognizant Microsoft Business Group, where they designed cloud-based data platforms using various Azure services. Jagan also worked as an Azure Consultant at Riverflex and Deloitte, where they provided expertise in Azure technologies.

Before their roles in Azure consulting, Jagan worked as a Big Data Engineer Consultant at Shell and a Data Analyst at Prudential plc. Jagan also worked as a Business Intelligence Consultant at Cabot Financial, where they provided insights and analytics to improve business performance. Earlier in their career, they served as a Data Analyst at Capita IT Professional Services and a Business Intelligence Developer at NHS NEL Commissioning Support Unit and South London and Maudsley NHS Foundation Trust.

Throughout their career, Jagan has demonstrated expertise in designing data models, developing ETL processes, creating reports using SQL Reporting Services, and implementing best practices in data architecture. Jagan is experienced in working with various Azure services, such as Azure Databricks, Azure SQL Database, Azure Data Lake Storage, Azure Data Factory, and Azure Logic Apps.

Jagan Jayakarthikeyan obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Madras, which they attended from 1999 to 2003. Prior to that, they attended Avichi Higher Secondary School from 1993 to 1999. Jagan Jayakarthikeyan also holds multiple certifications from Microsoft, including Microsoft Certified: Azure AI Engineer Associate, Exam 778: Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI, AZ-300 Microsoft Azure Architect Technologies, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, AZ-301 Microsoft Azure Architect Design, and Microsoft Certified: Azure Data Engineer Associate. Jagan obtained these certifications from Microsoft in 2020 and 2021.
