Srdjan Cicmil

Srdjan Cicmil has over 15 years of work experience in various roles related to information security and IT management. Srdjan started their career as a Lecturer and IT Technician, providing training and support for MS Office, MS Windows, and MS Project. Srdjan then moved on to become an Information Technology System Administrator and later a Senior System Administrator at Erste Bank, where they managed IT operations and infrastructure. In 2013, they were promoted to Head of IT Service Desk Unit and then transitioned to a role as an Information Security Risk Management Expert and Business Continuity Management Expert. Srdjan also worked as a Cybersecurity Manager at GDC before becoming the Chief Information Security Officer at GDC Services. Currently, they are working for Ahold Delhaize as a Governance, Compliance, and Awareness Manager for EU, as well as serving as the Information Security Country Lead for Serbia.

Srdjan Cicmil obtained a Master's degree in Computer Science and System Control from the Faculty of Technical Sciences, University of Novi Sad, from 1995 to 2006. Srdjan also holds additional certifications, including "ISO 27001:2013 Lead Auditor (Information Security Management Systems)" from TÜV NORD Gruppe, TÜV NORD CERT GmbH, obtained in May 2020, and "OKRs to Drive Alignment, Autonomy, and Accountability in a Hybrid Workplace" from LinkedIn, to be obtained in 2023.
