Curtis Harris

Curtis Harris, MPA, has extensive experience in both accounting and civic engagement. Currently serving as Staff Accountant at AHRC Nassau since May 2022, Curtis also co-founded and serves as Executive Director of Green Earth Poets Cafe since August 2013, where the mission focuses on helping individuals find their voice through the arts while fostering civic engagement. Curtis is actively involved in local politics as a candidate for the NYC Council in the 35th district and has a background as President of Paradise Travel Solutions, LLC, and Owner of Harris Associates Tax & Accounting. Educational credentials include a Master's Degree in Nonprofit Management and Administration from Baruch College and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Medgar Evers College.
