Catherine Laflamme

Catherine Laflamme is an experienced physicist with a diverse background in quantum technology and reinforcement learning. Current roles include External Lecturer at Management Center Innsbruck and Reinforcement Learning Community Leader at AI Austria, both since December 2020 and January 2020 respectively. At Fraunhofer Austria Research GmbH, Catherine serves as a Wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter since March 2018. Prior experience includes positions as a Research Assistant at the Institute for Quantum Optics and Quantum Information, focusing on quantum simulation and computation, and at McGill University, where Catherine conducted theoretical analysis of quantum measurement protocols. Education includes a PhD in Physics from Universität Innsbruck and MSc and BSc degrees in Physics from McGill University.
