Gaurav Bharaj is an Advisor at AI Foundation where he leads Deep Vision Science research for AI-driven visual content-creation. He received his PhD in Computer Science from Harvard University and has previously worked at Max-Planck Institute of Informatics, Disney, Adobe, Intel and Technicolor Research. He is recipient of the Siebel scholarship, and the Amartya Sen fellowship (Gov. of India). Gaurav's research interests lie at the intersection of computer vision and graphics; where his work focuses on applying deep learning, numerical optimization, and generative modeling to understand aspects of visual appearance - geometry, color, motion from and into images, especially for digital humans.
