Sven Schmeier

Sven Schmeier is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in artificial intelligence and language technology. Currently serving as Chief Engineer and Associate Head of the Language Technology Lab at DFKI GmbH since March 2007, Sven has also co-founded the AI Transformation Institute in May 2023. Sven's previous roles include Chief Operating Officer at Giance Technologies, where the focus was on enabling real-time utilization of global data, and CTO and Co-Founder of Yocoy Technologies GmbH. Additional experience includes positions as Senior Researcher at semgine GmbH and Product Manager at XtraMind Technologies. Sven holds a Diplom in Computer Science from Universität des Saarlandes.
