Barak Peleg

Barak Peleg has a diverse work experience spanning over several industries and roles. Barak started their career as a Designer and Webmaster at Star.Net (Artaxia) in 1997. Barak then joined the Israel Defense Forces in 2002, where they worked as a Signal Processing Engineer and later became the Head of a Software Development Team, managing multiple projects and winning a management award for promoting collaboration. After their time in the military, Barak worked at TaKaDu, where they were a System Architect & Tech Lead, responsible for system architecture, engineering, and implementing statistical algorithms. Barak also contributed to changing the software development process towards continuous integration and delivery. In 2015, Barak joined Paywiz.io (formerly Thumzap) as a VP R&D, overseeing the complete development cycle of their SaaS solution. Currently, they are working at AI21 Labs as a VP Technology and Architecture, utilizing their expertise in technology and engineering.

Barak Peleg earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics and Mathematics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, where they studied from 1999 to 2002. Barak continued their education at the Weizmann Institute of Science, obtaining a Master of Science degree in Physics from 2008 to 2010.
