Tvisha Nepani is a dedicated changemaker and leader with extensive experience in machine learning applications and community service. Currently serving as a Changemaker at AI4ALL, Tvisha has developed an ML-driven ensemble model to predict mitochondrial DNA variant pathogenicity. Contributions also include mentoring high school students in machine learning for Parkinson's Disease diagnostics as a UCSF Alumni TA. As Founder and Director of A Cause at a Time, Tvisha orchestrated fundraising campaigns that raised over $2k to combat period poverty. Additionally, as a small business owner of Cards4Cause on Etsy, Tvisha has donated all proceeds to community initiatives. Leadership roles at STEMgirls and Students Against Period Poverty showcased an ability to engage communities, organize events, and promote STEM education. Academic pursuits include a research internship at Yale University School of Medicine and a strong focus in Cognitive Science and Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley.
