Richard Poon

Richard Poon currently serves as the Regional CFO and Head of Integrated Reporting at AIA, a position held since November 2018. Prior to this, Richard held senior finance roles at FWD Insurance as SVP, Group Finance Director from May 2016 to November 2018 and at MetLife as Chief Financial Officer for the Designated Markets sub region in Asia from January 2013 to May 2016. Richard's extensive career in finance began at Manulife Financial, where roles included Deputy Regional Controller and Controller for the Asia Division, as well as positions in Canada. Richard holds an MBA in Finance and Financial Services from York University and an Honours degree in Accounting, Chartered Accountancy from the University of Waterloo.
