Tim Law

Tim Law is an experienced professional in the actuarial and portfolio management field, currently serving as the Director of Portfolio Management & Business Development at AIA since June 2021. Previously, Tim held the position of Head of Corporate Actuarial at AXA Hong Kong and Macau, overseeing a team of 15 actuaries focused on IFRS, HKRBC, and KPI reporting. Tim has also worked as Senior Director of Regional Actuarial Services at Manulife, where responsibilities included Par Fund & Capital Management and IFRS reporting. Earlier roles at AIA included Senior Manager positions in both the Financial Business Management Department and Group Product Actuarial. Tim's career began at HSBC, where involvement in different actuarial functions as a Management Associate spanned various locations including Hong Kong and Singapore. Tim holds a BBA in Finance and Marketing from The Chinese University of Hong Kong and has further educational experience from Fudan University and Copenhagen Business School.
