Taylor Aikin

Program Director - Cultural Facilities Committee at AIA New York

Taylor Aikin has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture. They began their career at Gensler in 2000 as a Designer, and then moved to Kevin Kennon Architects in 2004, where they served as a Senior Designer until 2006. From 2006 to 2014, Aikin worked at Gluckman Tang Architects as an Architect. In 2015, Aikin joined MBB Architects as an Associate Partner, a role they currently hold. In 2019, they also took on the position of Program Director - Cultural Facilities Committee at AIA New York | Center for Architecture. Most recently, in 2021, Aikin became the Vice Chair on the Board of Directors at Bricks and Mortals NY.

Taylor Aikin completed a Bachelor of Environmental Design degree in Architecture from the University of Colorado Boulder from 1996 to 2000. Following this, from 2001 to 2004, they pursued a Master of Architecture (MArch) degree at Columbia University Graduate School of Architecture, Planning & Preservation. Taylor's education history primarily focuses on architecture studies.
