John Small

John Small has extensive experience in finance and operations roles. John currently holds the position of Chief Financial Officer at AiAdvertising since March 2023. Prior to that, they served as the Chief Financial Officer at Invest Inc starting from December 2022. In 2022, they also served as the Chief Operating Officer and Chief Accounting Officer at Big Watt Digital, where they focused on clean and sustainable Bitcoin mining. From 2019 to 2022, John was the Chief Financial Officer at Monsoon Blockchain Corporation, where they contributed to the development of innovative blockchain solutions. John was also the Chief Financial Officer at Roman DBDR Tech Acquisition Corp from August 2020 to December 2021, overseeing special purpose acquisition activities. In 2021, they briefly held the position of Chief Operating Officer at Diamond Standard Co. Additionally, they have experience as the Acting Chief Financial Officer at Clearit from October 2020 to May 2021. Prior to these roles, John served as the COO and CFO at Quanterra Capital Management LP from May 2019 to January 2021, focusing on quantitative investment strategies. Between 2016 and 2019, they were the SVP of Finance at Tsunami XR, a software and applications company specializing in virtual and augmented reality. Lastly, they served on the Board of Directors at DraftDay Gaming Group Inc. from September 2015 to March 2017.
