Christophe Bertrand

Christophe Bertrand is an accomplished sports lawyer and the founding partner of Cabinet Bertrand & Associé, the first law firm in France dedicated to sports law, established in January 1998. Bertrand has held multiple leadership roles, including President of the French Sports Lawyer Association (AADS) and co-founder and Treasurer of the International Association of Sports Lawyers in Soccer (AIAF). Bertrand also serves on the jury of specialization for sports law within the National French Bar and is a member of the Sports Law Commission of the Paris Bar. As an educator, Bertrand lectures in Sports Law at the University of Burgundy. Educational qualifications include degrees from the University of Paris I: Panthéon-Sorbonne and a DEA (Master 2) from Université Paris Cité, along with professional legal training from the École de formation professionnelle des barreaux de la cour d’appel de Paris.
