Muhammad Usman Idrees

Muhammad Usman Idrees is a seasoned professional in the oil and gas industry with extensive experience in process engineering and project leadership. Currently serving as the Group Lead Main Process at Aibel since August 2011, Muhammad specializes in managing flowlines, manifolds, oil and gas separation, and related systems for unmanned process platforms and offshore wind farm projects. Muhammad has held significant roles including Lead Process and Piping for the Hornsea3 EPC, Principal Process Engineer for Johan Sverdrup Process Platform 2, and Senior Process Engineer focusing on process simulations and system design. Prior experience includes work as a Summer Student at Statoil, where Muhammad developed mathematical models for gas-condensate systems, and as a Process and Operations Engineer at Pakistan Petroleum Limited. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the University of Engineering and Technology, Lahore.
