Vinayak Sengupta

Vinayak Sengupta has had a diverse range of work experiences. Vinayak is currently working as a Data Scientist at Aible since 2023. Prior to that, they worked at Valrix LLC as a Data Engineer from November 2022 to March 2023, where they conducted analysis on the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) for clients and implemented testing phases and data migrations. Vinayak also worked at Movable Ink as a Data Integration Engineer from July 2022 to October 2022, where they improved data processing time and implemented ETL pipelines using PySpark and Python scripting. Before that, Vinayak was a Teaching Assistant at Rochester Institute of Technology from August 2021 to December 2021, where they aided in teaching and grading assignments for Master's students. Vinayak also worked as an Enterprise Business Applications Developer and a Graduate Student Research Assistant during the same period, where they developed database applications using Oracle Apex and worked on knowledge graphs and ontology development using deep learning architecture. Furthermore, Vinayak gained experience as a Machine Learning Intern at InTWO from July 2019 to December 2019, where they developed ML models for optical character recognition and created analytical dashboards on Power BI. Vinayak started their professional career as a Software Development Engineer at Eltropy in June 2018, where they developed web services using Groovy and the Grails framework.

Vinayak Sengupta pursued their education chronologically, starting with a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science and Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology and Science, Pilani, which they completed from 2016 to 2020. After that, they attended Rochester Institute of Technology from 2020 to 2022 to obtain their Master of Science (MS) degree in Data Science. Additionally, Vinayak Sengupta received a Data Science Nanodegree from Udacity in July 2020.
