Anton Lopez is a researcher at AICIA, working on the HYBRIDplus project focused on developing advanced thermal energy storage systems for concentrated solar plants. Previously, Anton held roles at Abengoa, including R&D Project Manager for the SolarsCO2OL project and involvement in innovative projects like E-Magic, Scarabeus, and Sun-to-liquid, all aimed at enhancing energy efficiency and viability in CSP technologies. Anton has a strong academic background, currently pursuing a PhD in PCM cascade systems at Universidad de Sevilla, following a Master's in Thermal Energy Systems and a Bachelor's in Energy Engineering with a Renewable Energies specialization.
