Richard Gallagher

Richard Gallagher has extensive work experience in the accounting and auditing field. From 1976 to 2014, they worked at EY, starting as a Partner and eventually becoming a Retired Partner. In 2014, they joined the AICPA as the Director of Examination Content, and later became the Senior Director of Examination Content.

Richard Gallagher graduated from Saint Peter's University in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy. Prior to that, they attended Villanova University from 1972 to 1974, studying Accounting. Richard also holds a certification as a Certified Public Accountant from the AICPA.
