Amay Shah is a dedicated Postbaccalaureate Researcher at the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) since August 2023, focusing on clinical research involving immune responses to the 9-valent human papillomavirus vaccine. Previously, Amay served as a Respite, Habilitation, and Attended Care Provider at AASK Arizona, advocating for children with special needs. As an Undergraduate Student Researcher at UCLA, Amay contributed to the discovery of mycobacteriophage JulietS and held leadership roles within Bruins Public Health, emphasizing public health advocacy. Additional experience includes board member and fellowship coordinator roles within Effective Altruism, participation in the Young Advocates Internship Program, and earlier positions at Starbucks and Mathnasium Learning Centers. Amay holds a Bachelor of Science in Pre-Human Biology and Society from UCLA.
