Paul Wiegard

Paul Wiegard is an accomplished leader in the film and entertainment industry, currently serving as a Board Member for ACMI and Screenrights, President of the Australian Independent Distributors Association, and Co-Chair of the Australian International Documentary Conference. As CEO and Co-Founder of Madman Entertainment, Wiegard has significantly contributed to independent film distribution since 1996. Additionally, Wiegard founded DocPlay and has held directorial positions at Nude Run Pty Ltd, Bang Packaging and Stationery, and MADMAN PRINTING PTY LTD. Wiegard's educational background includes a Master’s Degree in Screen Arts and Business from the Australian Film Television and Radio School and a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Science and Arts from the University of Melbourne.
