Silje Sahlén has a diverse work experience spanning from 2007 to the present. silje started their career as a Sales Assistant at Vitra from January 2007 to June 2012. silje then worked as a Service Designer at PwC Norway from September 2018 to April 2020. Later, Silje joined Schibsted as a UX Researcher from April 2020 to November 2021, where they progressed to the role of Research Lead & Service Designer from November 2021 to May 2022. Finally, they served as the UX Lead for Aftenposten at Schibsted from May 2022 to April 2023. Presently, Silje is working as a UX Researcher at Aidn since April 2023.

Silje Sahlén completed their education in a chronological manner. silje obtained a Bachelor's degree in Interior Architecture and Furniture Design from the Oslo National Academy of the Arts (KHiO) from 2005 to 2008. silje then continued their studies at the University of Oslo (UiO), where they earned another Bachelor's degree in Cultural Studies/Critical Theory and Analysis from 2009 to 2012. Finally, they pursued a Master's degree in Technology, Innovation, and Knowledge (TIK) at the University of Oslo (UiO) from 2015 to 2018.
