Nadeen Israel has extensive experience in policy and advocacy roles, particularly in the healthcare sector. Nadeen began their career as an Administrative Assistant at AIG before transitioning to roles focused on policy and advocacy at various organizations. Nadeen served as a Policy Intern at Heartland Alliance for Human Needs and Human Rights and later as a Contract Outcomes Analyst at Heartland Human Care Services. Nadeen then joined Heartland Alliance, where they held multiple positions including Research Manager, Policy Associate, and Project Manager, Health Policy. Nadeen continued their policy and advocacy work at EverThrive Illinois as the Policy & Advocacy Director. Most recently, they have been working as the Vice President of Policy & Advocacy at AIDS Foundation Chicago. Throughout their career, Nadeen consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills, successfully managing teams and exceeding budgeted goals.
Nadeen Israel completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration-Organizational Administration from the Gies College of Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, which they attended from 2001 to 2005. Later, they pursued a Masters in Social Work from the University of Chicago, specializing in Social Administration - Policy, between 2008 and 2010.
