Shelly Farnan

Shelly Farnan, PsyD, currently serves as the Chief Wellness Officer at the University of Missouri Health Care since February 2024. Farnan has a diverse background in leadership roles focused on well-being, diversity, and inclusion, including positions as Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion at Brightli and Vice President of Be Well Initiatives at Burrell Behavioral Health. Additionally, Farnan has contributed to the AIDS Project of the Ozarks as a Board Member since October 2018 and operated as a Wellbeing and Inclusion Consultant at Cultivate Psychological Services LLC earlier in 2024. Previous experience includes working as a Licensed Clinical Psychologist at Northwest Missouri Psychiatric Rehabilitation Center and owning Cultivate Psychological Services LLC. Farnan earned a Doctorate of Psychology in Clinical Psychology from The School of Professional Psychology at Forest Institute between 2005 and 2009.
