Joseph Packham

Joseph Packham has a diverse work experience spanning multiple roles and industries. Joseph is currently working at AiFi Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer and Team Lead since June 2021. Prior to this, they worked at Nova Futur Ltd from June 2020 to May 2021 as a Back End Developer and Team Lead, where they played a key role in building a mobile bank for a Swiss bank, developing Java and Golang based microservices deployed on a GCP Kubernetes cluster. Joseph also acted as a junior architect and designed APIs for the project.

Before their role at Nova Futur Ltd, Joseph worked at PA Consulting Group from January 2018 to June 2020. Joseph held the position of Digital Consultant, where they worked on multiple projects including Rentokil and Home Office Immigration Platform Technologies (IPT). In the Rentokil project, they automated interactions between back office systems and customer systems, developing a new microservices application and architecture using Java and Go. In the IPT project, they served as a Scrum Master and Agile Delivery Manager, ensuring successful delivery despite challenging circumstances.

Joseph's work experience also includes previous roles as Events Staff at Leigh Court Bristol from July 2011 to February 2015, and as a Catering Assistant at Cadbury Garden Centre from October 2014 to January 2015.

Joseph Packham completed their Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Physics at Durham University from 2010 to 2013. Joseph then went on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in New and Renewable Energy at Durham University from 2013 to 2014.
