Mario Martínez Requena

Mario Martínez Requena has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and companies. Mario is currently working as a TechOps Engineer at AiFi Inc. since January 2022. Prior to this, they served as the COO & Founding Member at Deribe from April 2021 to January 2022. Before that, they worked as a DevOps Engineer at Kyndryl from September 2021 to December 2021. Additionally, Mario worked as a Junior DevOps at IBM from October 2020 to September 2021 and as an R&D engineer at the Advanced Parallel Computing lab at Atos from October 2019 to October 2020. Mario also gained experience as a Full Stack Developer intern at ticketea by Eventbrite from June 2017 to September 2017.

Mario Martínez Requena has a strong educational background in computer engineering and data science. Mario earned their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Universitat d'Alacant, where they were part of the High Academic Performance group. During this time, they showcased their dedication and aptitude in the field.

In 2016, Mario attended the University of Bergen (UiB) for a short period to explore Research Topics in Model-Based Information Systems, further expanding their knowledge in computer science.

In 2018, Mario enrolled in The University of Edinburgh and pursued an MSc with Distinction in High Performance Computing with Data Science. This program honed their skills in advanced computing techniques and data analysis.

In 2018, they achieved a C1 English Level certification from Cambridge Assessment English, demonstrating their proficiency in the English language. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained the Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) certification from The Linux Foundation, highlighting their expertise in Kubernetes administration.
