Emma Vaara

Emma Vaara's work experience began in 2019. Emma first worked as a Security Officer at Airpro Oy from May 2019 to October 2019. In November 2019, they joined the University of Helsinki as a Student Ambassador, a role they held until May 2021. During this time, they also started working at Aiforia Technologies as an AI Technician in October 2019. In January 2022, they transitioned to the role of Project Specialist at Aiforia Technologies, where they are involved in the development of artificial intelligence models for clinical and preclinical pathology applications, as well as sales/marketing support projects and customer support for AI projects.

Emma Vaara started their education journey in 2014, completing their high school diploma at Kastellin lukio. In 2018, they enrolled at the University of Helsinki, where they earned their bachelor's degree in Molecular Biology in 2022. In the same year, they began their master's degree in Biotechnology at Aalto University, which is currently ongoing. Additionally, they participated in a minor exchange program at Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam (VU Amsterdam) from 2021 to 2022, studying business administration and management.
