Luca Matti Wettlaufer

Luca Matti Wettlaufer is an experienced professional with a diverse background in environmental guiding, trip leadership, and policy research. Currently serving as an Environmental Guide at AIGAE since April 2024 and a Trip Leader at Backroads since April 2022, Luca previously held the position of Senior Desk Officer at DAAD German Academic Exchange Service from March 2020 to April 2022, focusing on research and innovation policy. Prior roles include Editorial Consultant and Researcher and Mentor at ZBW - Leibniz-Informationszentrum Wirtschaft, as well as Freelance Project Manager at Goethe-Institut e.V. and Executive Producer, Director, and Screenwriter at Medienzentrale München. Luca holds two Master's degrees in Economics and Public Policy from Université Sorbonne Paris Nord and in Political Science and Government from Università degli Studi di Torino, along with a B.Sc. & B.A. in Economics and Philosophy from The University of Freiburg.
