Jessie Perez

Jessie Perez PhD, PMP is a Senior Operations Manager at Aigen since January 2024, with a strong background in the medical device and biotechnology sectors. As Co-Founder and COO of Violett, from June 2021 to November 2023, Jessie led the development and commercialization of medical device hardware, successfully raising over $3 million, and established strategic plans for market expansion. Prior roles include Scientist II at NanoString Technologies, where Jessie managed companion diagnostics projects, and Scientist at Universal Cells, where key contributions involved developing gene-edited iPSC products. Jessie holds a PhD in Molecular, Cellular, and Developmental Biology from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and has completed a certification in Project Management in Biotechnology from the University of Washington.
