Roshan Nagekar

Roshan Nagekar has a strong background in infrastructure and DevOps, with a focus on designing and implementing scalable services. Roshan has held the role of Director of Infrastructure and DevOps at Aigent since November 2021, where they are responsible for ensuring the development team has an efficient infrastructure to work with.

In addition, Roshan has experience in education as a Visiting Lecturer at MES' Institute of Management & Career Courses (IMCC) since June 2022.

Prior to their current roles, Roshan worked as a Senior Platform Engineer at ZING.work from February 2020 to November 2021, and as an IT Manager at Vforesee Technologies Pvt. Ltd. during the same period.

Roshan has also served as a DevSecOps Evangelist at sken.ai from October 2020 to March 2021, where they handled social media, wrote technical blogs, and created engaging content for the product.

Before that, Roshan worked as a Senior Site Reliability Engineer - DevOps & Security at Qualys from December 2018 to February 2020. In this role, they were responsible for DevOps and SRE responsibilities, as well as security patching and upgrades.

Roshan gained experience in cloud operations as a Senior Associate Cloud Operations at Western Union from September 2017 to November 2018. In this role, they focused on setting up DevOps and DevSecOps operation models and implementing automated change management processes.

Prior to that, Roshan worked as a Senior Service Reliability Engineer (SRE) at Vuclip Inc. from June 2016 to August 2017, and as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Xoriant from November 2015 to May 2016.

Roshan started their career as a Senior DevOps Engineer at Spotzot (acquired by Valassis) in June 2014 and worked there until November 2015. At Spotzot, Roshan was responsible for designing, building, and maintaining systems, as well as implementing infrastructure automation and continuous monitoring solutions.

Roshan Nagekar received their education in a chronological manner as follows:

From 1992 to 1998, they attended Army School Kirkee, where they completed their Middle School education in the field of Physical Sciences.

Roshan then moved on to Sainik School Satara and studied there from 1998 to 2003, completing their High School education with a focus on Computer Science.

Continuing their academic journey, Roshan attended Nowrosjee Wadia College Pune from 2004 to 2005. Here, they obtained an Associate's Degree in Geology/Earth Science, General.

From 2006 to 2009, they attended Savitribai Phule Pune University, where they completed their Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science.

Lastly, starting in 2010 and ending in 2013, Roshan pursued further studies at Modern College Shivajinagar Pune. During this time, they obtained a Master's Degree in Computer Science.

Additionally, Roshan has acquired two certifications: Brainbench Certified Cloud Computing Professional from Brainbench, obtained in October 2014, and TIC CIU Certified Shell Scriptor from Technology Incubation Center CIU, acquired in August 2014.
